KOMAN LAKE TOURS
Sustainable Future

Guardians of
The Fjord.

We don't just clear the plastic. We are building a culture of preservation for the Shala River and Komani Lake ecosystem.

"Nature is not a commodity. It is our home."

Since 2010, Komani Lake Tours has led the initiative to keep our waters clean. In a region where waste management is a developing challenge, we take it upon ourselves to perform daily cleanups, educate visitors, and support local families to maintain traditional, low-impact lifestyles.

2016 News: Storm Debris Cleanup — When Heavy Rains Tested Our Waters

Zero Trace Policy

We carry out everything we bring in. Our boats are equipped with waste separation bins, and we actively collect floating debris during every tour.

Community Empowerment

We employ 100% local guides and captains. Your ticket directly supports families in the remote villages of Dukagjin who rely on sustainable tourism.

Cultural Preservation

We restore traditional "Kulla" stone houses and keep ancient maritime routes alive, ensuring the history of the lake is strictly preserved.

Join Our Next Cleanup

We organize monthly volunteer cleanup expeditions. Join us for a free tour in exchange for a helping hand.
